For some reason I&#8217;ve noticed a difference on my stomach.</em>&#8221; The tip was passed onto her by her fitness trainer, because vinegar supposedly &#8220;flushes out fat in the colon and helps the body digest food&#8221; and &#8220;reportedly cuts out cravings.&#8221;</p>
<p>Then, in January of this year, Megan Fox said that she uses the same diet, because &#8220;I&#8217;m not one for dieting or exercising, because I&#8217;m lazy and I have a really big sweet tooth, so I have to do cleanses every once in a while &#8217;cause of the amount of sugar I take in.&#8221;</p>
<p>While some have heralded the diet, many health experts denounced it, calling it unrealistic and unhealthy. We at the Curb &#8216;n Burn Blog would have to agree. <p>(Before we start, let me just say that by no means are any of these&#8230; diets condoned. They are not healthy, and are being discussed on this blog because of how ridiculous they are.)</p>
<ul>
<li>The Chewing Diet<br />
This diet supposes, basically, that you can trick your stomach into thinking it&#8217;s full by chewing more slowly, no matter how much food you&#8217;re actually ingesting. This is kind of similar to the practice of continually chewing on food and spitting it back out.<br />
*This shouldn&#8217;t even be considered a diet, really — chewing your food slowly is just common sense that keeps you from choking.</li>
<li>The Cabbage Soup Diet<br />
&#8220;You mean, I can eat as much cabbage soup as I want? For seven whole days? Yay!&#8221; No, not yay. Gross. Who eats cabbage soup? There&#8217;s no proof as to whether this works — apparently it can have short-term results, but any weight lost is probably water weight.</li>
<li>The Tapeworm Diet<br />
This is cute. It&#8217;s like having a pet with you wherever you go, only instead of a cute lil&#8217; puppy, it&#8217;s a parasitic worm. We&#8217;ll let Kelly (below) explain the details one, and Creed (further below) explain why it&#8217;s a terrible idea.</li>

It&#8217;s not uncommon for someone on the Cleanse to pass out from fatigue. You also have to be careful about how you reintroduce regular foods into your diet; many don&#8217;t take this necessary step and just dive back in, resulting in severe stomach pain.</p>
<p>The verdict:</p>
<p>There&#8217;s no real harm in trying the Master Cleanse.</p>
